The Friends of Yeshivat Shefa is a UK registered charity (no. 292010). According to the UK Charity Commission website the charity exists to support the Aleph Society in Education, a Jewish educational organisation.[1] The society maintains schools in Israel but also in the illegal settlements of Gush Etzion.[2] One of its schools is located in the settlement of Tekoa within the larger Gush Etzion settlement bloc. [3] [2]

History

The organisation became a registered charity in 1985.[1]

Finances and Funding

Between 2010 and 2014 the charity spent £335,131.[4]
