Stephen Heintz - Board Chair of DEMOS USA Stephen Heintz is President of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and former President of Demos. He has also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the East West Institute, where from 1990-2000, he worked and lived in Eastern Europe helping in the transition to democracy. Heintz was also appointed a member of the advisory board of terrorism.openDemocracy, a website set up by the Club de Madrid and Open Democracy to continue policy discussions which began at the International Summit on Democracy, Terrorism and Security - a terrorism conference organised by the Club de Madrid and held in Madrid in March 2005 [2]
