The Public diplomacy Board of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office was set up following Lord Carter of Coles' Review of Public Diplomacy, which was delivered to the Foreign Secretary on 13 December 2005. It replaced the Public Diplomacy Strategy Board which was set up following the Wilton Review. It is supported by the Public Diplomacy Group within the Foreign Office, which replaces the Public Diplomacy Policy Department.
