John Higginson is the head of corporate communications at Insight Consulting Group.

Career

Higginson has worked in the media as a reporter at Newsquest, Splash News, The Sun and Total Politics and as editor or political editor at the Metro and Associated Newspapers.[1]

In early 2014 he was appointed head of communications at lobbyists Westbourne Communications.

At the end of 2014 he set up Justice Delayed Justice Denied, funded by The Telegraph and Guardian Media Groups, to cap police bail at 28 days following the treatment of his wife The Sun's Whitehall editor Clodagh Hartley.

In May 2015 he joined Insight as head of corporate communications.[2]
