ING Group is "a global financial services company of Dutch origin, currently offering banking, investments, life insurance and retirement services to meet the needs of a broad customer base."[1] The company is founded in 1991 as a merger of Nationale-Nederlanden and NMB Postbank Group. Headquartered in Amsterdam, it ranked 12 on Fortune Global 500 in 2010.[2]
