Hugh Fraser was the son of Hugh Fraser (Lord Fraser of Allander) and provided the money via the Hugh Fraser Foundation to set up the Fraser of Allander Institute in 1975. (for the MI5 officer of the same name see Hugh Fraser(MI5))
