Gareth Robinson, is a former councillor in Castlereagh, Northern Ireland, who runs the public relations business Verbatim Communications.[1]

He is the second son of Peter and Iris Robinson.[2]

Robinson served as his father's parliamentary assistant until his defeat at the 2010 election.[2] He was a member of Castlereagh Council from 2005 until 2013, during which time he served on the council's management team.[2]

Justice Minister David Ford later said that Peter Robinson should have declared an interest when asking him about the cost of policing events in the period before the fight.[3]
