European Electronique is a UK ICT provider for schools and the education sector.

It says it is 'Redefining education networks for the 21st Century. Pulling together educational expertise and technology understanding.'

Lobbying for education reform

European Electronique sponsored the first UK Education Reform Summit with HP, run by the Department for Education and Education Foundation. James Penny of European Electronique said it is 'working with HP to communicate to world leaders what a digital strand of education might look like.'

European Electronique also supported an Education Foundation report with Samsung: 'Technology in Education - A system View'.

People

  • James Penny: solutions director at European Electronique; Penny is seen as an ‘Edtech Leader’ in the UK. He was a member of ETAG and gave a keynote on Technology in Education at the UK's first Education Reform Summit. He was a former director and head of ICT at one of the UK's largest academy school chains, Harris Federation. He was with IBM before that.
