James Penny

James Penny is seen as an ‘Edtech Leader’ in the UK.

He was a member of ETAG, a national expert group to look strategically at technology in education; and gave a keynote on Technology in Education at the UK's first Education Reform Summit.

He is CEO at The Original Group. Until March 2016, Penny was 'solutions director' at European Electronique.

He was a former director and head of ICT at one of the UK's largest academy school chains, Harris Federation. He was with IBM before that.
