Donald MacLeod has been President of National Semiconductor Corporation, a a $2.0bn Santa Clara-based semiconductor corporation, since May 20, 2005 and Chief Operating Officer since April 2001. In this position he is responsible for the performance of all of National’s worldwide business units.[1]
Prior to holding that post, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for eleven years. He is a board member and former President of the Cupertino Educational Endowment Foundation, which provides supplemental financial support to a school district of 15,000 students,[3] and was a Board Trustee and eventually Chairman of the Financial Executives Research Foundation, a Research Foundation of Financial Executives International from 1993-1999.[4]
