Conflict, Security and Development is an academic, peer-reviewed journal that provides an analytical and empirically informed treatment of the linkages between issues of security and development in contemporary international relations. The journal works to place emphasis on the need to examine issues of security and development in their mutual interaction rather than as separate areas of academic enquiry and policy-making. [1]

All research articles in the journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and double-blind refereeing by at least two independent, anonymous expert referees. [1]

The Journal which was founded in 2001 covers a range of topics incluing development studies, politics and development, politics and international relations, security studies and war and conflict studies.
