The Climate Change Projects Office (CCPO) is jointly funded by the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR) and the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). According to their website:

We are a Government advisory office set up to assist UK businesses who wish to pursue opportunities arising from the Kyoto Protocol. We provide advice and support for projects which reduce greenhouse gas emissions and which could be eligible for tradeable emission reduction credits.[1]
