Cara Usher-Smith (nee Cara Walker) is the 'Fundraiser and Profile Manager' for the Centre for Social Justice.

Previously she was the Head of Media and Communications at the Stockholm Network between 2005-2009, before which she worked in consumer public relations in Sydney. After graduating from Bristol University in 2001, Cara was appointed as Iain Duncan Smith's Constituency Secretary. From 2003 – 2005 Cara was Director of the Atlantic Bridge think tank, which she left to work for Michael Howard during the 2005 general election as part of his UK campaign team. Cara then worked at the Parliamentary Resources Unit where her research primarily focused on foreign affairs, international development and defence. [1]
