Betsy Bassis was appointed director general chief operating officer at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in September 2014. [1]
Prior to this Bassis spent 12 years at Centrica/British Gas in a number of different roles, with her most recent role being strategy director for British Gas. [1]
