Savinoam Avivi served as head of the Shin Bet Protection Division for 15 years. He retired in the mid-1980s. Following the 1995 assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, he served on the internal Shin Bet commission which investigated the assasination of Yitzhak Rabin.[1]
