Moshe Arens (born 1925) is a former Israeli defense and foreign minister.[1]

Arens is a former vice-president for engineering for Israel Aircraft industries[1]

Arens was elected as a Likud member of the Knesset in 1974. In 1982, Arens became the Israeli ambassador to the United States. He was apppointed Defense Minister a year later. Arens also served as Foreign Minister from 1988 to 1990. Arens became Defense minister again between 1990 and 1992, when he retired from politics, only to be reappointed to the same position in 1999.[1]
