Glasgow Hebrew Burial Society Charitable Fund Association is a Scottish charity, number SC014704, constituted as a trust and on the Scottish Charity Register from 3 March 1982. The register gives its address, a trustee address, as PO Box 7317, Giffnock, Glasgow G46 9DB, and its charity status in October 2026 as "Not Submitted". Its objects are to promote the preservation, repair and maintenance of the Jewish burial grounds in Glasgow, including the cemeteries at Sandymount, Glenduffhill, Riddrie, Maryhill and Janefield; to erect headstones on graves that would otherwise remain unmarked through lack of funds; and "to provide free burial for members of the Jewish faith who are poor and needy".[1]
It is the charitable fund of the Glasgow Hebrew Burial Society, which the Glasgow Jewish Representative Council directory lists at the same PO box as operating the Jewish cemetery at Glenduffhill. The directory names Alan Caplan as Chairman, Barbara Caplan and Ephraim Borowski as Honorary Secretaries and David Levitus as Honorary Treasurer.[2]
