Roles
- Scottish Jewish Archives Centre: as director, he commented on the centre's Certificate of Special Achievement for Sustained Best Practice in the 2023 Community Archives and Heritage Awards, describing its growth "from its modest beginnings in 1987" and its work on the Scottish Jewish Heritage Centre.[1] In 2012 he gave an address on the history of the Jewish community in Dundee, which is quoted on the Tayside and Fife Jewish Community's website.[3]
- Jewish Student Chaplaincy Scotland: the chaplaincy's website names him and Nicola Livingston as longstanding members of its advisory board.[4] The 2025 accounts list him as an executive member,[5] and the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) register listed him among its trustees in October 2026.[2]
In a July 2025 Press TV article, David Miller described him as director of the archive and a civil servant in the Scottish Government, and published a photograph of him with Delia Berkley and Shirley Berkley at the Scottish Jewish Archives Centre.[6]
