FARA memos

According to leaked Israeli Ministry of Justice documents published by Distributed Denial of Secrets (DDoSecrets) in July 2024. The files came from a hack claimed by a group calling itself Anonymous for Justice, and their authenticity has not been independently verified.[3] In a memo of 18 July 2018 to Deputy Attorney General Dina Zilber, Glazer wrote that "there is a trend to turn the FARA issue from a Russia case into a case against Israel because of the close connection between Trump and Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu", and that pro-Israel figures in the US described "an atmosphere of a 'witch hunt'". She proposed that "informal coordination mechanisms (such as meetings and oral updates) will be developed to allow alignment of expectations with the American entity" (translated from Hebrew).[4] The Guardian first reported the "informal coordination mechanisms" proposal in August 2024.[5]

On 16 December 2019 she argued against publishing the name of the ministry's US law firm, Sandler Reiff, because "it was agreed with them that the engagement with the State would not be revealed". She added that US pro-Israel organisations had "expressed fears about cooperation (including direct engagements with the Ministry or through the PBC 'Concert')" (translated from Hebrew).[6] Middle East Eye reported the non-disclosure point in August 2024.[7]

Ministry of Strategic Affairs

As legal adviser to the Ministry of Strategic Affairs and Public Diplomacy, Glazer wrote a legal opinion saying the planned public-benefit company would carry out activities that "require an 'outside the government' discussion with the different target audiences".[8] On 22 October 2018 she told the Knesset transparency committee that the organisation was "in stages of formation … no real activity yet", that "we have no donors", and that "no money entered the bank account" (translated from Hebrew).[9]

Files from the Israeli Ministry of Justice leak, published by Distributed Denial of Secrets and not independently verified, include a memo from her dated 18 July 2018 to Deputy Attorney-General Dina Zilber. In it she wrote that "there is a trend to turn the FARA issue from a Russia case into a case against Israel" and proposed "informal coordination mechanisms (such as meetings and oral updates)" with a US entity (translated from Hebrew).[10]
