After the Taliban's drugs ban it reported an 85% national reduction in cultivation in 2023, including a 99% fall in Helmand.[5] The BBC used Alcis's imagery and analysis in a June 2023 report on the Taliban's campaign against poppy.[6]

Alcis is named on Lots 1 and 3 of the 2023–27 CSSF framework. Its published CSSF award (below) was a 2017 contract for "Global Coalition Against Daesh – Digital Content", let under Lots A and B of the earlier framework.
