Mosdos Dzikov Givat Zeev (Hebrew: מוסדות דזיקוב גבעת זאב; institutions of Dzikov in Givat Ze’ev) is the label used in the 2022 accounts of the London charity Yad Vochessed Association Limited (1112797) for a £20,000 grant.[1] It refers to the communal institutions of the Dzikov (Dzhikov / Dzików) Hasidic court in Givat Ze'ev, an Israeli settlement northwest of Jerusalem in the occupied West Bank.

Dzikov court in Givat Ze’ev
Dzikov Hasidism is a Galician court of the Ropshitz (Ropczyce) line, historically centred on Dzików / Tarnobrzeg. After the Holocaust several descendants used the Dzikov name. Rabbi Yechezkel Eliyahu Horowitz (d. 14 March 2016) opened a Dzikov synagogue in Geula, Jerusalem, in 1974 and republished the court’s books and niggunim. His sons divided the name: Rabbi Chaim Meir Horowitz as Dzikov Rebbe and rav of the community Ateret Yeshua Dzikov in Givat Ze’ev, heading kollelim there and serving among the halakhic rabbis of the Agan HaAyalot neighbourhood; Rabbi Menachem David Horowitz as Dzikov Rebbe in Beit Shemesh. A separate Dzikov–Vizhnitz court under Rabbi Yisrael Eliezer Adler later moved from Rehovot to Beit Shemesh.[2]

Givat Ze’ev
Givat Ze’ev (גבעת זאב) is an Israeli settlement established in 1977, five kilometres northwest of Jerusalem, in the West Bank / Judea and Samaria Area. Israeli settlements in territory occupied in 1967 are illegal under international law as applied by the UN Security Council; the Israeli government disputes that characterisation.[3] The settlement has mixed religious populations including a Karlin–Stolin centre.
