BMFF is a member of the national Inter Faith Network for the UK.[3] It collaborates on interfaith exhibitions (e.g., St Albans Cathedral) and joint events such as the ‘Shelter of Peace’ event with the Dialogue Society.[1]
Activities in relation to Islam
The Barnet Multi Faith Forum has run Islamophobia Awareness Month events, including “Barnet Unites Against Islamophobia” at Hendon Town Hall.[1] It includes Muslim representatives on its executive and environment sub-group.
Activities in relation to Judaism
BMFF has issued public statements in response to attacks on Jewish sites, including the North London Synagogue attack (reported in the Jewish Chronicle).[1] It works with Jewish community representatives as part of its multi-faith remit.
