James Rutland

James Rutland is a non executive director of Kazakhmys. Rutland has held a number of positions in Investors in Industry plc and represented the company on the board of several small oil companies. In 1985 he joined James Capel's corporate finance group and moved to head up Hongkong Bank's resource lending group in London. From 1993 to 2001 he served as finance director of Energy Africa Limited. He now acts as a consultant and is finance director of Osprey Oil & Gas Limited. He attended the College of Law, London, and was admitted as a solicitor in 1967.
