HN29 is the cipher given to a former police officer with the Special Demonstration Squad. For the N cipher system see N officers page. They fulfilled either a management or 'back office' role.
In the Undercover Policing Inquiry
11 May 2018: directed applications for anonymity to be made by end of month.[1]
21 June 2018: No application to restrict real name was made [2][3] [4] so it will be published in due course.[5]
