Public sector

Ferry held "various senior management positions within the NOMS [National Offender Management Service] and prisons" from 1997 to April 2003.

Global Solutions Ltd.

Ferry was an operational senior manager for Global Solutions Ltd. at HMP Altcourse and HMP Rye Hill from April 2003 to April 2004.

Geo Group UK

Ferry joined the Geo Group UK in April 2006 as a business development director. He worked there until February 2009.

Reliance Secure Task Management

Ferry was custody lead at Reliance Secure Task Management from March 2009-October 2010, where he researched "new opportunities for the organisation".

Mitie Care and Custody

Ferry joined the newly formed Mitie Care and Custody in September 2009 as a business development director, "Seeking out new markets and identifying the resources and expertise necessary to generate opportunities and new business".

• In 2012 Ferry also became a corporate development director at Mitie, "developing MITIE public services proposition and exploring new markets".
