Joanna Jacobson
Joanna Jacobson is President of the the Jacobson Family Foundation Trust, a 501(c)(3) non profit foundation that supports a number of Jewish and pro-Israel causes. She is also a former member of the board of trustees for the David Project and is a member of the advisory council of the Schusterman Center for Israel Studies at Brandeis University.[1]
Jacobson is the founder and Managing Partner of Strategic Grant Partners, an organisation which partners with grantees to implement their projects.[2]

- Joanna Jacobson is the founder and Managing Partner of Strategic Grant Partners. Previous to this, Ms. Jacobson’s career was in private industry where she held senior management and marketing positions in turnaround businesses including the President of the Keds Corporation and SVP Marketing and Product Development at Converse Corporation. Earlier in her career, she worked at Colgate-Palmolive as Product Manager of the US Toothpaste business and for Worldwide New Product Development. She has also taught at the Harvard Business School and was a partner in Core Strategy Group, a marketing strategy consultancy.
- Joanna earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration at Harvard University. She serves on the boards of Youth Villages, Edward Brooke Charter Schools, The Boston Plan for Excellence, HBS Social Enterprise Initiative, UP Education Network, is the Board Chair of Youth Villages MA and sits on the Advisory Board of EdLabs.[3]
According to the company website Strategic Grant Partners have disbursed $62,000,000 to 56 organisations since 2002.[4]
In April 2013, Boston Magazine listed Jacobson at number 17 on their list of 'most influential people in Boston philanthropy'.[5]

In 2011 with Jonathan Jacobson she donated more than $100,000 to the David Project.[6]
In 2013 a further donation of more than $100,000 was made by the pair to the David Project.[7]
