Jonathan Jacobson
Jonathan Jacobson is a trustee of the Jacobson Family Foundation Trust, a 501(c)(3) non profit foundation that supports a number of Jewish and pro-Israel causes. He is the co-founder and CEO of Highfields Capital Management, an investment management hedge fund which 'manages private investment funds for endowments, charitable and philanthropic foundations, pension funds and other institutional and private investors'.[1] The company has been estimated to be worth some $11 billion.[2] Jacobson received a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.[1] He is Chairman of the International Board of Trustees of Israel's Institute for National Security Studies.[3]
In August 1996 the Harvard Management Company was criticised by the American press for awarding Jacobson, at that time the Senior Vice President for Foreign Equity, $6.2 million in 1994.[4]
In May 2012, Jacobson spoke at a panel discussion hosted by the Milken Institute titled 'Risks and Opportunities: A Discussion with Leading Investment Managers'.[5]

In October 2010 Jacobson donated $50,000 to the Emergency Committee for Israel PAC.[6]
