Ben Gordon
Ben Gordon is the non-executive director of five-a-side football group Powerleague Group Limited.
Career
Gordon was the chief executive of Mothercare PLC from December 2002 to November 2011.
He has also served as a senior vice president and managing director at Disney Store Europe and Asia Pacific; senior management positions at WH Smith Group; and L'Oreal SA in Paris.
He is currently a non-executive director of five-a-side football group Powerleague Group Limited.[1]
Letter to the Telegraph
On 1 April 2015 Baldock was one of 103 business leaders who wrote to the Telegraph praising the British Conservative Party's economic policies and claiming a Labour government would 'threaten jobs and deter investment' in the UK.[2]
Political donations
According to the Guardian, Gordon has donated £9,000 to the Conservative Party; but this has not been recorded by the Electoral Commission.[3][4]
