Adam Atashzai currently works as a special adviser to David Cameron, his chief role is at the Conservative Campaign Headquarters (CCHQ) to ensure that the link up between Number 10 Downing Street and the CCHQ is successful. Atashzai took on this role in 2012 when he replaced Oliver Dowden. [1]
Atashzai is well regarded amongst Conservative Party members and during his previous role in the Treasury brief in the CCHQ he particularly impressed George Osborne.
