Susan Killen is the former director general for the Department for Transport and the Department of Culture, Media and Sport and is now group chief executive of St John Ambulance.
Career
In 2007 Killen was a director general for the Department for Transport and the Department of Culture, Media and Sport where she was responsible for initial planning on the 2012 Olympics. She has also held roles such as director of the Government's Drug Strategy in the Home Office setting up the unit responsible for possible UK entry to the Euro at HM Treasury responsibility for leading teams on the privatisation of British Energy and British Coal.[1]
She is now group chief executive of St John Ambulance. The role was "unconditionally approved" by ACOBA.[2]
