Oonagh Blackman

Oonagh Blackman is a former political editor at the Daily Mirror. She went on to be special adviser to the secretary of state for Northern Ireland Shaun Woodward. [1]
Blackman has more recently come under scrutiny in the Leveson Inquiry as she worked closely with Piers Morgan during her time at the Mirror. [2]
Background
Blackman worked at the Mirror for eleven years, in May 2004 she became their political editor after her predecessor, James Hardy, left to join the BBC. She had previously worked as special projects editor, Whitehall editor and deputy political editor. [1]
