Oonagh Blackman is the former Daily Mirror political editor, before she became a special adviser to the secretary of state for Northern Ireland, to advise Shaun Woodward on political strategy and communications. Background
Blackman worked at the Mirror for eleven years, in May 2004 she became their political editor after her predecessor, James Hardy, left to join the BBC. She had previously worked as special projects editor, Whitehall editor and deputy political editor. [1]
