Wesley Ball is current secretary of the parliamentary Labour Party and director of political services for the Labour Party. [1]
He is also a former special adviser to Hilary Benn at the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs from January to 2009 until the general election and continued to be a political adviser to Benn in Opposition. [1]
During the 2010 general election, Ball ran the briefing operation for the then Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Ball has also worked in campaigns and public affairs for NGOs and the Labour Party. He has advised political parties in Botswana and Macedonia on campaign strategy. [1]
