Patrick Loughran is a former UK government special adviser to Lord Mandelson in the Department for Business Innovation & Skills. [1]
Loughran now works as director of strategy at Blue Rubicon, a PR and lobbying consultancy firm, and as director at Thirty Six Strategy. [1] At Blue Rubicon, Loughran advises clients on strategic positioning, competitive framing, and messaging; applying 'the lessons that he learnt from his experience of developing strategy and winning campaign narratives for New Labour’s successful election campaigns'. Background
Patrick was special adviser to Lord Mandelson from from October 2008 till April 2010. He also previously worked as a special adviser at Number 10 Downing Street and at the Cabinet Office. Before working in government, Patrick worked 'at the heart of new Labour’s campaign successes' as head of research. [2]
