Matthew Hanney is a special adviser focusing on parliamentary liaison and constitutional affairs. He has worked for Nick Clegg for over six years as a senior policy adviser. [1]
Hanney is well respected throughout the party. His role as senior political adviser puts him in contact with the grassroots of the party to help Clegg keep in touch with the party at all levels. Hanney advises Clegg and his office on party feeling. [1]
