Julian Brazier has been the Conservative MP for Canterbury since 1987.[1]
Brazier's parliamentary career has included periods as: Opposition Whip (Commons) 2001-02; Shadow Minister (Work and Pensions) 2002-03; Shadow Minister (Home Affairs) 2003-03; Shadow Minister (Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) 2003-05; and Shadow Minister (Transport) 2005-10.[1] He was appointed as a Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defence in July 2014.[2]
