Zmira Lavi

Lt. Colonel Zmira Lavi is a consultant to MM~Law. She previously served in the IDF Intelligence Corps for 26 years. Her senior command positions include head of technological cooperation at the External Relations Department, Directorate of Military Intelligence; Head of the Palestinian research and analysis section at the Military Intelligence Research and Analysis Division; and a variety of professional intelligence positions in the central intelligence collection unit (Sigint unit). She currently serves as senior researcher and coordinator at The Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (a research institute focusing on terrorism and intelligence subordinate to the Ministry of Defense).

She has a BA in Middle Eastern Studies, Arabic language and literature from Tel Aviv University, and has completed the Senior Intelligence course, Israeli Military Intelligence.
