National Domestic Extremism Unit
The National Domestic Extremism Unit (NDEU) was created in 2011 through the merger of the National Public Order Intelligence Unit(NPOIU) and the National Domestic Extremism Team (NDET).[1]
The NDEU is a national policing unit, under the Specialist Operations business group of the Metropolitan Police Service under lead force governance arrangements.[2]
