Philip Baskin
Philip Baskin (1923-2005) was an American lawyer.[1]
In 1977, Baskin travelled to the Soviet Union with Judge William Cercone to meet Jewish Refuseniks and draw attention to repressive emigration policies.[2]
Along with John P. Sears, a former manager of Ronald Reagan's 1980 presidential campaign, Baskin headed the law firm Baskin and Sears, which was paid $500,000 annually from 1981 to 1984 to lobby for Apartheid South Africa in the United States.[3]
