Sumitomo Group is one of the largest business groups in Japan, founded by Masatomo Sumitomo.

- UK Life Peer and former Secretary of State for Industry Patrick Jenkin, Lord Jenkin of Roding, was an Adviser to Sumitomo Trust and Banking Co. Ltd from 1989[1] until December 2010.[2]
