Sam White is a former special adviser to Alistair Darling during his time as Chancellor and also held special adviser roles at the Departments of Trade and Industry, and Transport.
In September 2010 he was given the top lobbying job at insurance company Aviva, a newly created post of group public policy director. He is due to start in November 2010. [1] [2]
