Heather MacLeod was the managing director of the think tank (defunct as of February 2010), Social Justice Scotland.[1]
As at February 2010 she is standing as the Conservative candidate for Glasgow South West.[2]
The following is from her biography on the Scottish Conservatives website:
- In May, 2007 she stood as the Conservative candidate in the Scottish Parliamentary elections for Glasgow Maryhill.
- In 2007 Heather co-founded the Glasgow Business Initiative. Working with Bill Aitken MSP and with David Mundell’s Westminster Office, the Glasgow Business Initiative (GBI) aims to allow Scottish businesses to engage with Conservative thinking in an informal, non-political environment. Heather very much hopes that businesses large and small within Glasgow South West will find GBI meetings a useful forum for generating a strong business culture throughout Scotland.[3]
From January 2008 she was the director of pharmaceutical company GM Clinical Ltd.[4]
