Centre for Economics and Business Research, established in 1992, describes itself as an independent consultancy that specialises in business and public interest research providing "analysis, forecasts and strategic advice to major UK and multinational companies, financial institutions, government departments and agencies and trade bodies" [1]. The group is also an economic think tank and forcaster, specialise in providing business forecasts and related services.
