Fred Halliday

Fred Halliday is ICREA research professor at the Barcelona Institute for International Studies (IBEI). He was formerly professor of international relations at the London School of Economics and is a well known Middle East analyst in the British media. Formerly affiliated with the British left, Halliday later became associated with a number of establishment think-tanks, and generally presents a centre left analysis of world events.
