John Grogan

John Grogan has been a Labour MP since 1997, the first ever Labour candidate to represent the Selby constituency. Grogan is the leader of the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group the largest all party group in Westminster and a member the Northern Ireland Affairs Select Committee, since July 2004. He also is a paid columnist for the Alcohol Industry trade publication The Morning Advertiser. According to parlimentary register of members interests Grogan makes several overseas trips each year his 2007 entry included:

- 4-8 January 2007, to Lebanon and Syria to visit Parliaments. Travel and accommodation funded by the Anglo-Arab Organisation. (Registered 29 January 2007)
- 18-20 February 2007, to Kiev, to address conference organised by East West Institute on the role of the opposition in Ukraine. Travel and accommodation paid for by East West Institute. (Registered 23 March 2007)
