Charles Dunstone is a Non-executive Director of Halifax Bank of Scotland. Born in 1964, Charles is Chief Executive Officer of The Carphone Warehouse Group Plc, Europe's largest independent retailer of mobile communications equipment, which he founded in 1989. In February 2000 he was appointed as a Non-executive Director of Halifax and following the merger of Bank of Scotland and Halifax in September 2001, Charles was appointed as a Non-executive Director of HBOS plc.
