Mark Francois

Mark Francois has been the Conservative Party MP for Rayleigh and Wickford since 2010. In the 2015 election, Francois successfully defended his seat, gaining a majority of 17,230 and 55% of the vote.
He was the MP for Rayleigh from 2001 to 2010.
He was appointed a minister of state at the Ministry of Defence in 2012.[1] In May 2015, Francois was appointed minister of state at the Department for Communities and Local Government. [2]
