Heidi Alexander

Heidi Alexander has been the Labour MP for Lewisham East since 2010.[1] She was elected in May 2010 with a majority vote of of 6,216[2] and increased her majority in 2015 to 14,333.[3]
She is a former deputy mayor of Lewisham council in south London.[4]
In September 2015 newly elected Labour leader Jeremy Corby appointed Alexander to his frontbench as shadow health secretary.
