Luke Skipper
Luke Skipper is the chief of staff to the Scottish National Party Westminster Group.
Career
Whilst completing his masters, from 2004 to 2005, Skipper worked as an intern for Fiona Hyslop MSP, the then shadow minister for education.
In September 2005 Skipper moved to Brussels to work as a Stagiere for Alyn Smith MEP.
In January 2006 Skipper began work as lawyers DLA Piper Public Affairs office as an intern.
He then joined the Scottish National Party Westminster group, in the House of Commons, in March 2006 as the head of research and in May 2007 was appointed chief of staff and political adviser to the Scottish National Party members of parliament.[1]
In May 2015, after the Scottish National Party's extremely successful general election, it was reported that had joined the Scottish public affairs team of lobbyists Weber Shandwick, but the article has since been taken down.
