Ian McAllister

Ian McAllister was apointed to the board of Scottish & Newcastle in 1996 as a senior non-executive director and chair of the renumeration committee. After spending most of his career with Ford Motor Company McAllister is an international figure in business terms, after holding various positions in Germany, the USA and the UK.
McAllister is the current chairman of NetWork Rail. S&N ;ike to regard McAllister as adding a further social perspective to the company board through his membership of the Carbon Trustand past chairmanship of the Qualifications and Cirriculum Authority and membership of The Advisory Committee on Business and the Environment.
